First Impression

Well, Thailand it is. The first two days were suprising, strange, unexpected and above all: very beautiful.I'd like to share some impressions with you. Impressions that could easily make my mouth fall wide open.
To start with the air we breathe. It's warrm and has this everlasting smell in it. A smell you could describe in two words: lovely food. I adore Thai food, it's spicy and has suprisingly good flavors. The beautiful and massive temples are with no doubt one of the most beautiful buildings I've ever seen. The traffic is like a roller coaster. Especially when we took the tuktuk (three wheels vehicle) in Bangkok traffic was like an attraction!
And last but definitely not least : people's kindness. Every Thai person is interested in us and wants to help even beyond their own capabilities. So when they couldn't help us they just searched for someone who could. In Loei every single person stares and smiles at us because we're white, young and alone. And when we smile back at them I can see the happiness and excitement in their eyes. Thai people think white people are very beautiful and special. And they definitely make you feel that way!
